I have DLP 1.7. If I use it with my Nikon D200, what would I be missing compared to 1.8.1? Is there a revision history around somewhere? I used 1.7 with the D200 and I didn't seem to have any problems. The announcement says "Updated to read shooting data from the Nikon D200". I take it that DLP 1.7 can't read the maker notes?

DLPro v1.7 can't read the shooting data from D200 images and so you won't be able to use all of the tokens for renaming files etc. This includes the %r8 token which is the shutter counter which is very useful for generating unique download filenames. You may also have problems if you use the auto-rotate option on D200 JPEGs.

These restrictions don't apply to DLPro v1.8.1
