Hello everyone,

I am running the latest version of PS remote with a Canon Powershot G9.

The 'photo effect' option is grayed out and I cannot choose to have the picture taken in Black and White.....

Does anyone know why this is the case???

Older PowerShot models had a setting called "Photo Effect" which can be set from PSRemote. More recent PowerShot cameras have "MyColors" which unfortunately cannot be set from the PC. The "Photo Effect" option is only enabled when using older PowerShot models.
