What is a good camera height for a photobooth. I would also like to make it kid friendly if possible. I want to give the option of either sit down or standing to the client. I remember seeing a booth that did this, which I believe was snapshot's booth, which by the way is a great looking booth.

put your camera on a tripod
adust to proper height
use tape measure to see how far off the ground it is.

takes about as much time as me writing this post back to you.

Thanks. I starting messing around with heights yesterday in a similar fashion instead I was using my sofa table with the whole mockup. (My both is going on a stand. Pics to follow once I am through building it.)

I don't think that's what she was looking for... great feedback.

We've got ours at 5'1" and do strictly standup photobooths.

To help the kids out we bring a small box for them to stand up on.

I'd say if you wanted to do both stand up and sitdown then go a little lower than that and get a camera mount that lets you adjust the angle up or down. Only downside might be a slight up the nose shot, and awkward monitor placement inside the booth.

Hope that helps! Good luck with your build too!
