Chris are the photobooth folders controlling the ready,taking,and footer for PSremote and DSLRremote the same. Since cannon is dropping the point and shoot line from using remote capture I will be upgrading to DSLRremote. I would like to keep the old camera's as backups. In the event of a failure could I just change out the camera and switch to PSremote and just aim it at the same folder I use for the footer. Or do they use different settings for the two programs.

There shouldn't be any problem using the same photobooth folder images for PSRemote/DSLR Remote Pro or NKRemote. There are minor differences in the photobooth settings and so you can't save a settings file using PSRemote and then load it in DSLR Remote Pro or NKRemote.
