Is it possible to put a small timer on the bottom of screen so that the client would easily know how much time was consumed during photobooth operation?

I'm not sure about this, it seems somewhat specialised to me. I don't know whether you could find a suitable utility to display a timer. It probably wouldn't be difficult to write one using AutoHotKey.
