During the Christmas period, I saw this photography setup at the mall where people lineup with their kids to take a picture with Santa. I know I could probably design a template with DSLR Remote Pro to do this. Has anyone done something like this before? If you did not use DSLR Remote Pro, what did you use?

I would like to set something similar for Valentine and Easter.

DSLR Remote Pro's photobooth mode will automatically print images as they are taken if you set the number of shots in the sequence to one. The photos can be taken using the normal camera controls with or without live view enabled.
