Is there any update on new canon cameras being supported/having sdk released for psremote support?

Talking to our canon rep (we are canon dealers) while he knew that the sdk wasnt released, he had no indication that it wouldnt be in the future.

Just checking to see if you knew anything further.

WE are running 3 booths, and using the G10. They are now discontinued, and I have a spare but would prefer to have a safety net...

We prefer the G10 as it has a hot shoe, an ac adaptor, and you can remotely control the zoom which a DSLR wont do...

Canon made an announcement a couple of years ago that they were discontinuing the PowerShot SDK program. The latest PowerShot models (G11, SX120 IS, S90) do not support remote capture and I think it is highly unlikely that future models will. Currently the only options are to continue using the previous generation of PowerShots (G10 and SX110 IS) or to switch to Canon or Nikon DSLRs.
