For my photobooths, I am going to use ELO touch screens with PS remote, Canon Powershot cameras, and Canon photo printers.
So I need to purchase multiple Netbooks for each unit to run the applications.

Does anyone suggest a specific version of the OS I should use on the Netbooks?

Note: Two of the reasons I ask is if anyone has delay issues with Powershot camera drivers not published for Windows 7 yet.
Also any issues with the ELO touch screen drivers on Windows 7?

The Netbooks are available in two flavors:

Windows XP
Windows 7 Starter Edition

Any suggestions, thoughts?
Thanks!

Personally, Windows XP - purely because I'm making a *massive* assumption it's a little lighter and runs quicker than Win7. I actually don't know this for sure, but I do know that XP is more than adequate for running any of the Breezesys Photobooth software (I've run PSRemote and NKRemote myself on WinXP). Win7 is probably a little more expensive, and might even be a bigger unnecessarily load on your system. But, what do I know.

Any PowerShot camera that supports remote capture and works on Windows XP without requiring separate drivers should also work on Windows 7. This includes the G7, G9, G10, SX110 IS, SX110 IS, A640 and S5 IS.
