Automatically edit photos

Is there any way to automatically edit the photos (while in photo booth mode) after the pic is taken? For example, if I wanted the contrast to be automatically changed on each photo before it's printed.

I don't have an answer, but I'd like to add to the question: perhaps by triggering a Photoshop "action"? This would provide very flexible post-processing.

I'm not sure how feasible this is because the software would need to know when the external image editor had finished with the images. I suppose one way you could do it is to set the output option to none and use the image editor option to run a Photoshop droplet to edit each photo. If the droplet then saves the images in a different folder you could use Hotfolder Prints to print out the strips.
