Why is the picture just taken and previewed in live view not the picture printed? The previewed picture is bright, sharp and clear. The printed picture is darker, faces are orange-ish. Is it a lighting issue? If so, wouldn’t the previewed picture be dark and orange? I’ve tried various F-stop, ISO, shutter speed, white balance….
Using a Canon XS. Booth is lit with two 125W spot lights, mounted above the camera at the top of the booth. The booth seems to be very bright inside. Using a brand new DS40 printer because of its light weight and portability. Thank you in advance.

Before all the fixes you need to under stand a little about "Color Management"
What you see on the monitor is not what the out put will be. Just because it looks good on the monitor it may look BAD on print. you need to match both monitor and printer to get good results.

First (color) Sounds like a white balance issue. The color of your lighting is not set to the color of the camera. Try a custom WB. Read the manual on how to set a custom WB.

Second it looks like an exposure problem. Check your exposure setting.

Third it could be the printer is doing something to the print before it prints check all printer settings and make sure it is not darkening the prints or changing the color because of a printer setting.
