View Full Version : Color Shift

Hi Everyone,

I just finished the first day of a two day photo booth event. The guests receive two copies of their photo. The booth is set up to take one shot and print two copies. About halfway though the event, I started to get a color shift on several of the photos. The first would print out fine and the second would be blue and yellows or the first would be reds, yellows, blue (etc) with the second being fine. I would have to reprint until the photo came out the way intended which was maybe one or two times more.

Several photos later, after replacing the exhausted cartridge, the paper and cartridge stuck together thus ripping the print cartridge. Am I looking at a bad cartridge issue, a bad paper issue or a combination of both? Or is it not the printer enough time to "pause" between prints thus overtaxing the print cartridge and printer itself.

Anyone else have this issue and how did you fix it?

I have a Sony UP-CX1

Thanks,

Geoff
