In the custom print preview, when clicking the left mouse button to show a preview of the template, it would be really handy if it also showed the captions on the preview.. would save lots of test prints each time to check its positioning.

That would be a cool idea. In the meantime, one way to do this is to temporality set the print option to just print a JPG Only. This way you can see how the entire thing will look like, and make adjustments as needed. When finalized just set the print settings back to your preference - Print only or Print and JPG only...

This was added in the latest releases on 3 Feb. When you left click in the preview it will show the caption text but won't expand the tokens.
