I am using the videobooth mode, but i found the sound quality of the avi files to be very low.
It has been recorded af 11 kbps, intead of 32kbs or Cd quality at 44kbps.

I am using Logiteck 720 p web cam. The microphone has very good quality, but it´s been recorded at very low bitrate.

The Videobooth seems it does not have a way to select speed, compresion, bitrate or codecs of the avi files. where i can set it?

Hi, you have to make the changes in the Operating System settings.

Under windows 7.....

Control Panel>Hardware and Sound>Manage Audio Devices>

Click on the recording tab and highlight the Logitech 720 Microphone

Then click on the properties tab
and then the advanced tab

then in here you can change the audio quality.

Hope this helps

thanks it was useful. Also, I discovered the noise cancelation option in this webcan can give a lot of distortion in noisy enviroment. This was the main culprit.
