Will green screen work in video mode with DSLR Pro? Canon cameras?

You can only use green screen in stills photo booth mode. In video booth mode the video is captured to the camera's memory card and so it isn't posisble to green screen the images without downloading them to the PC and transcoding the video.

you could set up a screen capture program to record the screen, though the green screen effect is rather pixelated, so the quality is not great, but passable form some cheesy applications.

you'll need a faster pc to accomplish this with a good video card.

I've just released DSLR Remote Pro for Windows v2.4.1 which may help. This includes the option to green screen the live view images in video booth mode. The movie file downloaded to the PC and video playback isn't green screened and will show the green background, but having the live view green screened will allow users to interact with the virtual background. You will need to use a third party app to green screen the movie file.
