I just upgraded to version 2.4.1 because it has some features that I need.

However, it is not letting me connect to my Canon 5D. Just the red screen - Not Connected.
Tried uninstalling and reinstalling.
The 5D shows up fine as a working device in windows.

I'm running Windows 7 Pro 32 bit.

My 5D connects just fine to Lightroom 4.1....but not DSLR Remote Pro 2.4.1. It was working fine in 2.4.0

Any suggestions?

Just tried uninstalling 2.4.1 and installing 2.4.0 again. 2.4.0 worked fine.

I hope to get this figured out soon because I need 2.4.1's clicker mode this weekend!

The latest Canon SDK adds support for the Canon EOS 5D Mark III but appears to only have limited support for the original 5D. It works with the 5D on Windows XP but not on Windows 7. Unfortunately there isn't much I can do about this as Canon appear to have decided to drop support for older camera models in the latest version of the SDK.

Clicker mode was added in v2.4 and so you should be able to run v2.4 and control the 5D.
