I had to switch out the camera in my booth so I picked up a Canon T3. Everything else remained the same fron my XS settings. Now my pictures are super over exposed. Can't turn down my flash enough to compensate. I took the camera back and got a new one. Same thing, way over exposed. A month ago, I built a booth for a friend and used a T3 and never had the slightest problem.
Any ideas. I'm using a hotshoe adapter to trigger my flash

Thanks, Dean

Please check the camera settings. If you are using manual exposure mode and the "external flash mode" option in the photobooth settings the exposure will be controlled by the ISO and aperture settings on the camera and the power setting on the flash. Please try setting the ISO to 400 and the aperture to f/8 then adjust the flash power to get correct exposure. You may get problems if the ISO is set to auto.
