I am rebuilding my booth and would like to to place my Nikon D5000 behind frosted plexiglass with a hole cut out for the lens. Any suggestions on thickness of the plexiglass. I am thinking 1/8" would do but curious if 1/4" would allow the flash to go through. I think a 15 dollar piece of plexiglass would be alot cheaper than a speedflash and a hotshoe cable.

Also seen some booths designed with the lens behind glass. I would think reflection may occur but then again I am new in the business.

Looking for some good input.

Thanks in advance.
