I am using PSremote to shoot artifacts lit by non-tungsten floods using a PS G3. I need to do a custom white balance but cannot figure out how wto do it using PSRemote. When I do a manual custom (custom1) white balance with the camera and then plug it in to the USB, the white balance seems to reset, even if I have the program set to Custom1, when PSremote retakes control of the camera.

Sorry if this is a naive question, but I don't see anything about this in the Help files or the FAQ. Could you please instruct me on how to get a proper white balance with a mildly yellowish light source using PSremote.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Unfortunately there isn't a way to capture a custom white balance when the camera is connected to a PC. My PowerShot A80 appears to remember the custom white balance if you set it manually before connecting the camera.

Is that a feature that could be added? It might be useful to others as well.

Sorry it isn't possible to add this because the Canon libraries don't support it.
