There has been quite a lot of discussion of DNG but one thing I would like to do is convert all my old canon 300d files (the two files per image) to a single file so there are less things to loose. Can BBpro do this and does it keep all the information (e.g. EXIF+IPTC) in the process. I know part of this should be addressed to Adobe but does anyone here know the answer?

BBPro can't convert raw files to DNG. Adobe's DNG converter can do this but you will lose some shooting data unless you select the option to embed the original raw file in the DNG file (in which case the file size is approximately doubled).
BBPro stores the IPTC data for "CRW" cameras (like the 300D) in the THM thumbnail file and so you would also need to keep a copy of this. I don't know whether Adobe's DNG converter can read IPTC data from raw files (or the THM) and store it in the DNG file.
