I just purchased BB Pro and created an HTML page with a bunch of pictures. With the same settings, I compared the pictures created with the original BB and the Pro version...seems to me that the auto leveling is better with the original version. Am I doing something wrong?

It looks as though the white points are set differently. BBPro uses a different graphics library to perform the auto levels and it is possible it has slightly different characteristics. What happens if you set the white point value a bit lower (i.e. a bigger percentage) in BBPro?

Sorry to be dumb, but where do I change that value for html page generation?

Do I change this for an individual picture or in general for how BB Pro thinks?

Sorry, my mistake - the levels settings are fixed when generating HTML images. What appears to be happening is there is a slight difference in the way the resizing works if fast mode is selected. Fast mode uses a faster, simpler resizing method and this averages the colors resulting in a slightly darker brightness histogram. This means that the auto-levels brightens the whole image (a bit like increasing the gamma).
I will try tweaking the settings slightly when not using fast mode.

BBPro also has slightly different sharpening characteristics when using USM sharpening due to the new graphics library. This means you need to increase the radius value by approximately 50% to get similar results to BB.
