Hi, Some time ago you responded to my post about Breeze Pro handling Canon 50D raw files. I appreciated that help. I would like your help now, also. Now after some delays I am about to get going with Breeze Pro. Unfortunately I read license terms. And I am a bit shocked by one item in particular. Section 19.1 says that by using the program I am giving the "licensor" the right to audit my computer. (copy of the license section below). Just what is this all about? And what kind of auditing does this mean? Does the program "call home" with info on me & my machine? Does it call home regularly or something? Since I take privacy as a very serious issue, this strikes me as a major problem. And perhaps reason to stay clear of any Breeze products. So I need to know what your take on all this is and what the history about this might be. thanks, Ward EuLA extract 19. General 19.1 You agree that the Licensor shall have the right, after supplying undertakings as to confidentiality, to audit any computer system on which the Materials are installed in order to verify compliance with this software licence. ========================================
Hi David, I have a question about LR2 and BBP. It's my understanding that when you edit a raw file in Lightroom it doesn't really do anything to the file itself, just LR's database changes, or something like that. Anyway, I love using BBP to quickly look through my shots, delete what I don't like. If I need to do much editing, I import the raw files into lightroom. Is there any way that I can export the edited raw files out of LR back to BBP to make web galleries? I love the BBP web gallery template i've edited. I hate to think about not using it. Do I have to export from Lr as jpeg, *then* make the BbP galleries from the jpegs? Joe Fisher Kalispell, MT
David, What's life like on the Isle of Wight? Are there national parks and wildlife refuges, etc.? I've never been to Europe. I was born and raised in Nebraska, (USA), but also lived in Alaska and Oregon. I'll be going to Yellowstone next month to photograph a wide variety of things - elk, moose, maybe wolves if I'm lucky and scenery.
