    Default Wireless connection problem

I have a Canon 1Ds Mk3, MacBook Pro with latest version of Snow Leopard and a WFT-2A wireless unit. I have the camera set to transfer files to a root folder on the MBP from the wireless unit using the FTP transfer method. I believe that at present this is the only way to use the WFT-2A with Snow Leopard. EOS Utility won't work. When I try to use DSLR Pro the programme cannot connect to the camera even though the laptop is connected and receiving the images, what am I doing wrong and how do I correct it?

It sounds as though the drivers for the WFT-E2A aren't compatible with Snow Leopard yet. I think all you can do is ask Canon for support.
Using the FTP transfer option just needs a WiFi connection and an FTP server whereas controlling the camera via the WFT-E2A requires suitable driver software to be running on the computer.
